A fast-track court on Wednesday recorded the statement of the accused in the Girish murder case that rocked the city in 2003. But no evidences were produced.
B Venkatesh, father of Girish, died on Tuesday. Though his condition wasn’t good, he was constantly enquiring about the date of the hearing, family sources said.
Girish was a software engineer at Intel. He had got engaged to Shubha, who was already in love with Arun Verma.
A week after her engagement with Girish, she allegedly murdered Girish in connivance of Arun, Dinesh and supari killer Venkatesh.
