Ukraine has become a well established destination for students wishing to do MBBS and MD. Every year around 1,200 students from India leave to Ukraine for both MBBS and MD. Kharkiv is the second largest city in Ukraine and was also the first capital of the former Soviet Union. Kharkiv National Medical University is one of the oldest higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Founded in 1805, as part of the Kharkiv University, it is now a national university with over 600 teachers. Over 1000 foreign students from over 86 countries are now studying in the University.

The Adi Shankara Educational Institution of Europe was established by MAYUR - The Ayurvedic University of Europe in joint venture with the Adi Shankara Math.

They are currently offering the following programmes in India. Lectures will be conducted by experienced senior faculty from MAYUR and Adi Sankara Institutions.

MSc in Nursing, Puducherry

The Mother Theresa Institute of Health Sciences was established by the Government of Puducherry to develop the requirements of health care personnel by providing health care educational courses for the Union Territory of Puducherry.

The Institution was started in September, 1991 as ‘Pondicherry Centre for Paramedical Education’ at the Government General Hospital, Puducherry with the four Diploma courses of Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), Certified Radiological Assistants (DCRA), Multipurpose Health Worker-Male (DMPHW-M) and Multipurpose Health Worker-Female (DMPHW-F). In the subsequent academic year the two degree courses of Bachelor of Nursing (B.Sc.Nursing) and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) were started along with two diploma courses of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and Paramedical Opthalmic Assistant (DPOA). The diploma courses of D.Pharm. and DMLT were upgraded as degree courses from the academic year 2001-02.

To cater to the growing needs, MTIHS will introduce an M.Sc program in Nursing this academic year.
