Popular film ‘Mungaru Male’, directed by yograj Bhat, swept as many as six  awards including the one for best film at the Karnataka State cinema awards for 2006-07 announced on Friday. The awards committee was headed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekar,  Ismail, B.K. Sumitra, Shashidhar Adapa,  Damador Shetty, Ramakrishna and Basavaraj .
   Duniya and Cynaide were adjudged second and third best films respectively.
   Kada Beladingalu has got the Special Film of Social Concern Award.
   ‘Duniya’ hero Vijay was adjudged best actor and took home the award named after Subbaiah Naidu while the best actress award went to Tara for her performance in ‘Cyanide’.
