`The foundation stone for a ESI medical college in Indiranagar was laid on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge hoped that ESI’s project also extends to North Karnataka.

The medical college to be set up at Indiranagar is part of ESI’s nation-wide project to establish medical colleges. ESI has proposed to build 11 medical colleges around the country during the first phase of a larger project, with the college at Indiranagar being the first for the state.
