I am in my final year Bsc Biotechnology. I would like to do my masters in the US. Since studying abroad requires 16 years, would a year’s B ed programme with Bangalore University help me secure admission abroad?
Yes Shazia by doing any one more year of university education will fulfil the admission requirement for masters programme in USA. But be aware that when it comes to calculating the course credits and the number courses to be taken to complete the masters in Biotech will not reduce as the B.Ed, is not in the main stream of your education. Should there be a possibility of taking an MSc or BSc Hons. in any university in India and consider taking a master’s programme in any specialised field of Biotech abroad could be another alternative. You could also consider other countries such as Australia or UK as universities in those countries also offer good courses in Biotech field and recognise Indian 3 year degree programs.
I have completed my 12 th standard exams this year and would like to pursue my medicine either in Australia, Newzealand or Canada. What is the cost of education, quality of education and other relevant details.
To get in to medical schools in any of the countries of your choice one has to essentially get in to a BS program with Biology and other medical related subjects.
Only after the basic degree or during the duration of the degree program you can appear for the entrance for medical schools. It is a long journey and expenses involved are phenomenally high. It could cost you anywhere from 6 lakhs to 8 lakhs per year of education for the basic degree.
I have completed my II PUC in PCMB.I would like to pursue my career as a commercial pilot. Could you let me know of some good institutes that provide CFL and twin engine rating. Will the courses abroad be on par with DGCA specifications?
Most Pilot training schools abroad will conform to DGCA specifications. It costs anywhere form 20 lakhs to 25 lakhs as course fee, flying training charges and licensing fee etc. This is in addition to the living expenditure of about 4 lakhs for the duration of one year that it takes to complete the course.
