 Make hawking legal
It's a good idea to issue licenses to hawkers and make it legal. After all, it's been going on for generations. Issuing licences is a channel to rake in revenues. Use the revenue to keep the surroundings clean. Penalise hawkers who litter the place. Licensing helps the hawkers as they won't be hassled by cops and inspectors. If you can't beat them, join them.

Should Bangalore International Airport design be changed?
http://www.airport-technology.com/projects/bangalore/bangalore5.html
Union civil aviation minister Praful Patel has sought change in the design of the international airport at Bangalore. Part of the design was to change the capacity - which is welcome, but he also wanted re-work on the aesthetics.I would request the minister to allow the existing design which includes the traditional rangoli.
